Middlesbrough's Lee Miller critical of own performance
Miller joined the Teessiders in January of this year from Aberdeen
Middlesbrough striker Lee Miller revealed his disappointment following his performance in Saturday's 1-0 Championship win against Peterborough.
Miller, 26, was making his third appearance following a January move from Scottish side Aberdeen but admitted he is yet to show his worth.
Miller told BBC Tees: "I'm critical of myself and I think players should be.
"I didn't play to my potential today and hopefully I'll get my chance on Tuesday against Blackpool."
Miller was one of three striking imports from Scotland to arrive at the Riverside during the January transfer window, along with the Celtic pair of Scott McDonald and Chris Killen.
However, while Miller and Killen have had time to bed in, McDonald has been recovering from a hernia operation and Lanark-born Miller believes the Australia international has great promise.
"He's very close (to coming back to full fitness), Scott's still got to settle in at the club like myself.
"He's a great talent, a great goalscorer and hopefully we will be able to use him to the best of our ability."
Boro are two points off the play-off places in the Championship and are currently six games unbeaten under manager Gordon Strachan.
