Mansfield Town striker Paul Connor has signed a new 18-month contract.

Connor, who has scored 13 goals this season, joined the club last summer with supporters group the 12th Stag contributing towards his wages.

The 32-year-old said: "I am delighted to have signed this new deal, but without Paul [Nyland of the 12th Stag], I probably wouldn't be here.

"The work he and his team do is fantastic and is appreciated by everyone at the club."

The fans' group donated £3,000 when the former Lincoln striker joined the Stags on a one-year deal last July.
