Mansfield Town boss David Holdsworth has signed Luton Town midfielder Andy Burgess on loan, with a view to a permanent move in January.
Holdsworth said: "This signifies my intention to bring in quality players.
"I've been aware of Andy's qualities for some time and he will be an excellent addition to the squad."
The 28-year-old joined the Hatters in the summer after a second spell with Rushden & Diamonds, the club where he began his career.
