Luton Town have made former Rushden & Diamonds midfielder Andy Burgess their first signing of the summer.

The Bedford-born 27-year-old has signed a two-year deal after being released from his second spell at Nene Park.

"People talk about dream moves, and anyone who knows me will understand it's a fantastic move for me," he said.

"All my family have been Luton Town fans all their lives. To sign here is a fresh start for me. I don't feel like I'm joining a new club."
