A young Mansfield Town side were beaten in their latest pre-season friendly as they went down 3-0 at Alfreton.
The Stags, who drew with Leicester last week, were undone by goals from Josh Law, Ian Ross and Damien Reeves.
Trialist Ben Algar was given a run-out by manager David Holdsworth, before being substituted in the second-half.
Holdsworth told the club's website: "It wasn't good enough. I am disappointed with some of the performances and the players know why."
