Mansfield Town goalkeeper Alan Marriott insists the Stags should not fret if their performances continue to be less impressive than their results.
The 1-0 victory over York on Saturday was their fourth win in five games under new boss David Holdsworth.
"We've not played particularly well but at the end of the day wins are wins," Marriott told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"It won't say it was a scrappy battling, performance in the papers, it will say we got the three points."
He added: "At this stage of the season, with conditions the way they are, you have to dig in and play percentage football."
