New Macclesfield striker Tyrone Barnett has spoken of his excitement about making his first League Two outing.

The former West Brom trainee played for a number of non-league clubs following his release by the Baggies, and signed for the Silkmen from Hednesford Town.

He told the club website: "I'm not taking anything for granted but I'm looking forward to my league debut.

"When I was part-time I was also working as a service driver so it's nice not to do that anymore."
