Luton keeper Marlon Beresford has been warned as to his future conduct after being found guilty by the Football Association of breaking rule E3. Beresford had denied the charge of "using abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official" after he was sent off in the 5-1 defeat at Preston.
Hatters boss Mike Newell was handed a similar charge, of an alleged breach of rule E3, relating to the same game.
Newell has since denied the charge and has requested a personal hearing.
