Newell was ordered out of the dugout against Preston |
Luton manager Mike Newell has been warned as to his future conduct by the Football Association after being found guilty of abusing a match official. Newell was charged with "using abusive and/or insulting words" towards fourth official Steven Cummins during Luton's 5-1 defeat at Preston on 11 February.
The Hatters boss had denied the charge and requested a personal hearing - but the charge was proved.
In March, keeper Marlon Beresford was warned in relation to the same game.
Beresford's charge related to comments made to an official after his sending-off at Deepdale.
