Tranmere loss sees Luton promoted
Luton Town were promoted to the Championship on Tuesday as rivals Tranmere lost to Brentford.

Rovers were the only side who could catch League One leaders Luton but only if they won all their remaining games and they lost 1-0 at Griffin Park.

Tranmere's defeat means Hull City, second in the table, can also seal promotion if they win on Saturday.

The remaining few games will then see Luton and Hull battle it out for the right to call themselves champions.
