The Ivory Coast international spent a few days with Shanghai Cosco in their training camp in Busan, South Korea and admitted giving serious thought to creating a new life for himself in the Orient. Dadi recently suffered the tragic loss of his girlfriend and both the player and Livingston have agreed that a change of scenery may help the recovery process. However, the former Aberdeen and Toulouse ace decided that it would be unwise of him to make a decision based on a few days with the club outside of their native country and has opted to stay and help the West Lothian side.
"I was in South Korea for a few days and it was fine, but I never had the opportunity to see China and have a taste of what life would be like there." "So I came back to Scotland and I'm here for the moment. "You never know what can happen in the future but I'm not thinking about anything other than Livingston for now." The forward returned for Livingston's defeat at the hands of Celtic on Sunday after not featuring for his side since before Christmas. The 29-year-old insisted that concentrating on pushing Livingston up the table, was helping to ease the pain, saying: "I just want to play now because I think football is something to enjoy and it can help me move on in life." | Top Livingston stories now: Links to more Livingston stories are at the foot of the page. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
