Lincoln striker Drewe Broughton unhappy with own form
Broughton spent a month at Lincoln on loan from Rotherham last season
Goalshy Lincoln City striker Drewe Broughton says he is unhappy with his form so far this season - and that he is determined to put things right.
The much-travelled Broughton, 30, is just six short of a century of goals in his 16-club career but is yet to net in six League Two games for the Imps.
"I haven't hit my own form," he told BBC Lincolnshire. "It's disappointing."
That has contributed to Chris Sutton's men standing in a lowly place of 18th, having won just twice in seven games.
"All you can do is roll your sleeves up, keep working hard and not hide," said Broughton. "That's what I intend to do and I think we all have to do that."
After last Friday night's 3-0 defeat at Accrington, the Imps now have the chance to improve their league position with successive home games.
Saturday's first visit to Sincil Bank (25 September, 1500 BST) in 12 years from league new boys Stevenage is then followed by a home game with Burton Albion next Tuesday night (28 September, 1945 BST).
