Sleaford clinched second place in the Lincolnshire Premier League with a nine-wicket victory over Bourne on the final day of the season. The champions were all out for 140 with Tom Shorthouse making an unbeaten 67 in Sleaford's 144-1. Lindum snatched third place as they beat Bracebridge Heath by four wickets. Tom Khoza scored 77 in the hosts' 192-8 with Pierce Morley Barnes taking 5-42, before Alex Hornsby's 93 not out helped Lindum to 193-6 at Cross O'Cliff Court. Skegness, who like Bracebridge went into the final round of matches with a chance of finishing second behind Bourne, lost by 36 runs at home to Market Deeping. The visitors made 203 with Lee Peacock top-scoring with 77 and Steve Kirkham taking five wickets, before Skegness were dismissed for 177. Gary Tillison took 7-40, including four wickets in four balls, in Grimsby's winning draw at home to Louth. Gihan Perera, in his final game for Grimsby, made 73 before retiring with an ankle injury, as the hosts reached 215-8. Louth were restricted to 153-8 despite 56 from Rory Osmond, who put on 105 for the fourth wicket with Jason Collinson. Boston beat Woodhall Spa by 53 runs at the Mayflower Ground, despite having been reduced to 35-6 by the visitors. Dave Sargeant (55) and Paul Timby (54) put on 101 for the seventh wicket as they recovered to 197-8, with Elliot Wilson taking 6-41 to dismiss Woodhall for 141. Nettleham's Warren Nel finished the season as top scorer with 928 runs at an average of 84.36, thanks to an unbeaten 100 in their five-wicket victory at Hartsholme, for whom Tim Shooter and Stuart Bell made half-centuries. Bourne's Fahad Masood was the leading wicket-taker with 62 wickets for the season. Woodhall Spa and Hartsholme finished 11th and 12th but are set to retain their Premier League status with Messingham and Billingborough - champions of the Lincolnshire League and the South Lincs and Border League respectively - unlikely to apply for election to the Premier League.
