Bourne wrap up Lincolnshire Premier League title

Bourne have won their first Lincolnshire Premier League title since 2001 after an emphatic 157-run victory over Hartsholme.

Will Clough made an unbeaten 110 in Bourne's 219-8 before Mark Dixon took a club record 9-31 to dismiss the visitors for just 62 runs.

Title-chasers Sleaford and Bracebridge Heath saw their games at Louth and Nettleham called off due to rain.

Skegness beat Woodhall Spa by six wickets to move to third in the table.

They restricted the hosts to 139-9 at Jubilee Park, with Saeed Bariwala's unbeaten 71 helping Skegness to 143-4.

Elsewhere, Grimsby's Harry Warwick made 64 to help his side to 148 at Market Deeping, for whom Ali Sharp took 5-46. Gary Yeeles then made 54 as the hosts won by five wickets.

Lindum's match at home to Boston was abandoned because of rain.

The final matches of the season will be played on Saturday, 18 September, starting at 1130 BST.
