Win puts Bourne on brink of Lincs Premier League title

Lincolnshire Premier League leaders Bourne beat title rivals Bracebridge Heath by five wickets to move closer to their first championship since 2001.

Charlie Hopkins took 6-59 as the hosts were all out for 107, with Bourne easing to 111-5 in reply.

Sleaford climbed to second with a 111-run victory at home to Market Deeping.

Dammika Gunawardene made 130 and Jonathan Adams 56 in Sleaford's 310-9 before Steve Bradford took 5-53 to dismiss Deeping for 199.

Boston took a step closer to escaping the bottom two, with Jonny Cheer and Alan Mountford both making half-centuries as they comfortably beat Nettleham by eight wickets at the Mayflower Ground.

Skegness edged a high-scoring match against Grimsby by 14 runs at Augusta Street, with Carl Wilson making an unbeaten 81 and Saeed Bariwala 80 as the visitors made 254-4.

Despite half centuries from skipper Richard Antcliffe and Gary Tillison, Grimsby were all out for 240.

Geoff Middleton scored 87 as Lindum beat Woodhall Spa by 111 runs at Jubilee Park while bottom side Hartsholme had a winning draw at home to Louth.
