Lincoln boss Chris Sutton has warned his players not to take relegation rivals Grimsby lightly in Saturday's derby at Blundell Park.

Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "They've been unfortunate not to get results.

"I think they will get results eventually, we've just got to try and make sure it doesn't happen against us.

"We are moving forward but we are in a relegation fight and we've got a long way to go. We haven't cracked it yet, neither are we are a total disaster.

He added: "We have a young team. I think it's fair to say we might be patchy at times, but we're trying to move the club in the right direction.

"I think performance-wise since I've come in general we have done that."
