Lincoln City's home game against Hereford United has been brought forward by a day to Friday, 12 March.
Both clubs are also looking at switching the reverse fixture at Edgar Street in December to a Friday.
Lincoln chief executive Dave Roberts told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "Friday night games work quite well at the beginning and the end of the season."
"It wouldn't be a success if we did it all the time. As a one-off, it brings in a different type of audience."
