Imps to decide rebels' fate soon

Adrian Patulea
Patulea was Lincoln's leading scorer last season with 11 goals

Lincoln City chief executive Dave Roberts says the club will decide next week whether to offer improved deals to Adrian Patulea and Sam Mullarkey.

The strikers, who are out of contract, turned down the original offers made to them by manager Peter Jackson.

Roberts told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "Peter will now review the situation.

"We made the offers and the ball was in their court. That time has now passed and it's back to us to decide whether we're still interested or not."

Romanian striker Patulea was Lincoln's leading scorer last season with 11 goals while Mullarkey, who joined from non-league Grantham Town, scored once in 18 games.
