Patulea was Lincoln's leading scorer last season with 11 goals
Lincoln City chairman Steff Wright believes that contract rebels Adrian Patulea and Sam Mullarkey will be released by manager Peter Jackson.
The deadline set by the Imps for the out-of-contract strikers to accept new deals passed on Tuesday.
Wright told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "There was an opportunity for them to come back to the table but if they were enthusiastic they'd have accepted.
"I think it's unlikely now that they'll be Lincoln City players next season."
Romanian striker Patulea was Lincoln's leading scorer last season with 11 goals while Mullarkey, who joined from non-league Grantham Town, scored once in 18 games.
