Jackson is hoping to strengthen his side's defence and midfield

Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson has said he is hoping to sign at least one player on loan before Saturday's match against Darlington.

The sale of Lee Frecklington to Peterborough and injuries to striker Geoff Horsfield and defender Danny Hone has stretched Jackson's squad.

The Red Imps boss told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "I've got one or two things on the go.

"I'm looking at midfield and maybe a defender, we'll have to wait and see."
