Oakes joined Lincoln in the summer after turning down a deal at Wycombe

Lincoln City midfielder Stefan Oakes returned to action on Tuesday after almost a month out with a calf injury.

Oakes, 30, played the first half of the reserves' 3-3 draw at Nottingham Forest before being substituted at the break.

Club officials say he suffered no reaction to the problem which has kept him on the sidelines since the defeat at Bury on 13 September.

Lincoln's goalscorers at the City Ground were David Graham, Kevin Gall and Sam Mullarkey.
