Wright has been Imps chairman for three years

Lincoln City chairman Steff Wright has said the club have seen an increase in season ticket sales.

Nearly 1,900 tickets have been snapped up at Sincil Bank this summer, compared to 1,500 at the same time last year.

And Wright told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We are delighted with the response from people.

"In addition to buying season tickets to see the team play I am also getting other people saying they'll watch more Imps games this season than last."

And Wright believes Lincoln's management team have had a major influence on sales figures.

He added: "Our manager Peter Jackson has made a big impact here at Sincil Bank."
