Jackson is preparing to bring new faces to Sincil Bank

Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson has taken the former Coventry City left-back Stuart Giddings on trial.

Giddings, 22, is one of eight players released by Coventry City manager Chris Coleman at the end of last season.

Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "Hopefully I've got another left-back signing this week but I need more cover for next season."

Giddings is a former England youth international and spent part of last season on loan at Oldham.
