Rotherham started the road to recovery after 17-point deduction with a well-earned win against Lincoln.
Reuben Reid scored the winner a minute before the interval when he out-paced Lee Beevers to reach Pablo Mills' pass and beat Rob Burch.
Rotherham could have doubled their lead two minutes after the break but Burch saved well from Danny Harrison.
Lincoln's best effort was a Stefan Oakes free-kick which Rotherham keeper Andy Warrington tipped around the post.

"I thought we'd come here and win the game but I'm disappointed to come away with a loss, definitely.
"In the second half there was only one team which was going to score, which was us, but if you don't take your chances you don't pick up points."
