Midfielder Stefan Oakes has agreed to join Lincoln City after rejecting a new deal at Wycombe Wanderers.
The 29-year-old started his career at Leicester City before enjoying spells at Walsall, Crewe and Notts County. Oakes said he was sad to be leaving the League Two side after three years at Adams Park.
The midfielder told Wanderers official website: "Although I am sad to leave I think it is time for me to move on, it will be nice for me to move back home."
Oakes is expected to sign a two-year contract with the Imps in the next few weeks before formally joining at the start of July.
