Wycombe saw off Morecambe thanks to a wonder goal from Stefan Oakes.

Oakes struck the winner with a 30-yard free-kick which flew into the top left-hand corner of Scott Davies' goal.

Wanderers also went close when an Oakes free-kick was headed against the post by Chris Herd and threatened though Jim Bentley and Carl Baker late on.

Morecambe's best effort came in the very first minute with a Matt Blinkhorn shot that grazed the foot of the left-hand post.
