Lincoln boss Keith Alexander has been given the all-clear to return to work after recovering from brain surgery. The Imps boss collapsed at home in November with a cerebral aneurysm - a swelling of a blood vessel.
He then underwent surgery to repair his damaged brain and has been out of the game since.
But on Tuesday, specialists at Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire Hospital gave him the green light to return to work at Sincil Bank.
His first game back in charge will be against Boston on 7 February.
Chairman Rob Bradley said: "Keith has now received the go-ahead from his specialists and everyone at Lincoln is simply delighted.
"It's an unbelievable story and something that everyone associated with the club will never forget for as long as they live.
"Regardless of what capacity he returns in straight away, it will be brilliant to have him back at Lincoln."
Alexander has had a host of cards and messages from well-known figures in the game, including Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
In his absence, Gary Simpson has acted as temporary manager and the club have moved to seventh in Division Three during that time, losing just one game in that time.
Bradley said: "If we didn't before, everyone realises what an important figure Gary is at the club and he should be very proud of his achievements."
