Alexander has made good progress |
Lincoln boss Keith Alexander is out of hospital after making good progress in his recovery from brain surgery. The 45-year-old collapsed at home last month and had been recovering at Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire Hospital from complex surgery to repair a ruptured cerebral aneurysm.
Imps acting manager Gary Simpson said: "It's too early to tell for sure, but he's getting fitter and stronger every day."
Alexander will continue his rehabilitation as an out-patient at Lincoln County hospital.
Simpson is in charge of first-team affairs until further notice, and added: "Thankfully he looks to be heading in the right direction."
