Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling says his squad is well enough prepared for the coming campaign despite a pre-season hampered by injuries.

"It's not been ideal. I think Alton Thelwell's played 110 minutes all pre-season and Tamika Mkandawire has done a game and a half," he said.

"But I think we'll be okay. I'm happy with how things are.

"I think you'll be surprised at how many people will be available to us next week," Ling added.

In Saturday's friendly against Stevenage, the O's boss was without Simon Dawkins and Paul Terry, who both sustained injuries in Wednesday's game against Tottenham.

But Ling has stated neither will face lengthy spells on the sidelines.
