Leicester City have signed Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old Dutch centre-half could make his Foxes debut against Derby at Pride Park on Saturday.

Bruma, who made his Chelsea debut at 17, has played seven games for the Blues this term, but has started just one Premier League match.

Chelsea were willing to let Bruma leave on loan after the deadline-day signing of versatile defender David Luiz.

The arrival of Bruma, who has also played as a full-back, is likely to mean Jack Hobbs leaves the Foxes on loan.
