Leicester City are progressing - Sven-Goran Eriksson
Former England boss Eriksson took charge on the Foxes in October
Leicester boss Sven-Goran Eriksson says he can see signs of progress following the Foxes' 2-0 win over Barnsley.
Saturday's success at Oakwell was City's third victory from four Championship games and their second consecutive clean sheet.
Eriksson told BBC Radio Leicester: "We are getting better and better and more and more confident.
"We are able to keep the ball better and I want to see the team go on playing as we did."
Leicester were in the relegation places when Eriksson took over at the beginning of October but have moved up to 17th in the table, four points above the drop zone and just six points off the play-offs.
Eriksson added: "Once again it's a clean sheet. The backline was very good, we defended well, played good football and created some chances.
"Maybe we should have had more goals with all the possession we had but we are getting better.
"We controlled the situation very good - maybe not for 90 minutes but it was a good win and a good performance."
And the Swede was delighted with the contribution of both midfielder Yuki Abe and striker Darius Vassell.
"Darius has the pace - he was good and I'm sure he can be much better," said Eriksson. "He played his last game in May and has only trained for two or three weeks.
"Yuki Abe was brilliant. To settle in is not that easy; English football is very tough and quick. But he is a hard worker and a good man and will do everything he can to be successful."
