Leicester City midfielder Andy King believes the Foxes have a good enough squad to compete for a place in the Premier League next season.
Leicester, who were promoted from League One last season as champions, began pre-season training last week.
King told BBC Radio Leicester: "Everyone has come back on a high on the back of promotion last season.
"There's talk of back-to-back promotions. It's early days, but we want to finish as high as we can."
The Foxes have signed goalkeeper Chris Weale, winger Dany N'Guessan and midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic so far, with chairman Milan Mandaric promising more to come.
King added: "All the new players bring something fresh to the team and they are looking good in training.
"Competition for places is only going to be a good thing for everyone at the club."
