Shakespeare unfazed by Foxes form

Leicester City

Leicester City assistant manager Craig Shakespeare insists his League One table-toppers are not fazed by their recent indifferent home form.

The Foxes drew 1-1 against Stockport on Tuesday to extend their unbeaten run to 22 games - but it was their fourth successive draw at the Walkers Stadium.

"It's another point towards promotion," Shakespeare told BBC Radio Leicester.

"We're not worried. Concerned and frustrated, yes, but we have belief in these players."

The result means Leicester are 12 points clear of Peterborough in second spot and 13 points clear of MK Dons.

But the Dons do have three games in hand on both Leicester and Posh.

And Shakespeare acknowledges the safety buffer could have been far greater had the Foxes made the most of their recent home matches.

"We would like to have turned a few of those draws into wins but we have kept the run going," he said.

"It's another point and we are where we are because we have had quite a good season so far.

"Every game we go out to attack and try to get the three points and we won't change our philosophy."
