Leicester City defenders Joe Mattock and Patrick Kisnorbo returned to action in a 2-1 reserve win over West Brom.

Kisnorbo, 27, has been sidelined since picking up a knee injury against Sheffield Wednesday in April.

In August, England under-21's Mattock was stretchered off in the Carling Cup against Stockport with an ankle injury.

Reserve team manager Gerry Taggart told the club website: "Both Patrick and Joe came through the full 90 minutes, which will do them the world of good."

He added: "It was a physical contest and they certainly didn't shirk any challenges."
