Leicester defender Patrick Kisnorbo will miss the start of next season after suffering a knee injury in the defeat against Sheffield Wednesday.

The 27-year-old Australian damaged knee ligaments and is expected to be sidelined for up to six months.

Kisnorbo will have surgery in the summer but will not be back for the start of pre-season training.

The Foxes face Stoke City on Sunday needing a win to be certain of their Championship survival.
