Max Gradel to repay Leeds United boss for keeping faith
Gradel scored four goals for Leeds last season
Leeds United winger Max Gradel is looking to repay the faith shown in him by manager Simon Grayson as he serves a four-game ban for a red card.
Gradel was sent off in the final game of last season against Bristol Rovers for an off-the-ball incident and is adamant he has learnt from his mistake.
He told the club website: "You have to come back stronger and don't do stuff like that again.
"The boss helped me. He's given me pre-season games when he didn't have to."
Gradel also thanked the club's fans for their support and says he cannot wait to get back into the team for the Championship campaign after several impressive performances in pre-season.
Grayson ambitious for Leeds' return
"I'm looking forward to the start of the season. I'll have an extended running session and I hope I'll be ready for when I come back. I hope when I get back I will get in the team," he added.
Meanwhile, right-back Liam Darville has joined Tranmere Rovers on a month's loan.
The 19-year-old who has been a regular in United's reserve side, will start the season with the League One club.
