Leeds United manager Simon Grayson will not rush top scorer Jermaine Beckford back to action.
Beckford sat out the defeat by Carlisle at the weekend with a hamstring injury.
"He's coming along nicely - he's one of them you don't want to bring back too quickly and miss him for six, seven or eight weeks.
"I'd rather make sure he's 100% right and we've got a fit Jermaine Beckford from now until the end of the season," Grayson told BBC Radio Leeds.
The 19-goal frontman was substituted during the win at Stockport at the end of December having only from just returned from a similar injury.
He is back in training but Grayson does not want to risk aggravating the injury.
He said: "You need your best players fit and he's certainly one of them."
Defender Paul Huntington is also continuing his comeback in training after almost four months out with a succession of injuries.
