Bowyer linked with Man City
Leeds midfielder Lee Bowyer
Bowyer almost moved to Liverpool in the summer
Leeds midfielder Lee Bowyer will turn down the chance to sign a new contract with the club and is likely to head to Manchester City, according to reports.

The 25-year-old could leave Elland Road for as little as 1m when the transfer window reopens in January, claims the Daily Mail.

Bowyer will be a free agent at the end of the season and Leeds are said to have given up hope of keeping him at the club.

And Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan reportedly leads the chase for his signature as he is keen to strengthen his midfield.

The report also claims that Robbie Fowler, Mark Viduka, Olivier Dacourt, Nigel Martyn and Ian Harte will be available in January as Leeds look to cut debts of 77m.
