McPhee joined Kidderminster from Weymouth in 2009

Cash-strapped Blue Square Bet Premier side Kidderminster Harriers have placed top scorer Chris McPhee on the transfer list in an attempt to bring in funds.

The 27-year-old midfielder, who joined Harriers in 2009 and has scored nine times this season, is thought to be one of the club's highest earners.

"It's disappointing that we have had to take this step," manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester.

"The club has made the decision and we need to respect that."

McPhee missed the recent defeat against Newport because he got the start time wrong, incorrectly assuming the match, which started at 1300 GMT, was a 1500 GMT kick-off.
