Louis Almond scored twice as Barrow beat Kidderminster to move three points clear of the relegation zone.
The home side took the lead when Almond, on loan from Blackpool, fired in a shot from the edge of the area.
The striker then doubled his lead in the second half with a stunning 25-yard drive, which takes his tally to four goals in as many games.
Nick Wright converted Callum Gittings' corner to pull a goal back for Harriers but Barrow held to secure the points.
Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr told BBC Hereford and Worcester:
"Nothing seemed to go for us today. No rub off the green and a couple of decisions we felt aggrieved by in the first half.
"We had plenty of opportunities but it just wouldn't drop for us.
"We had one come back off the post but that sometimes happens and you've got to accept that and move on.
"I thought Louis Almond's two goals were top drawer finishes. He was the difference."
