Kidderminster Harriers vice-chairman Mark Serrell says the board are working "extremely hard" at Aggborough to save the club.
The Blue Square Bet Premier club revealed earlier this month that they needed £150,000 by the end of December.
"We are working tirelessly and our chairman Dave Reynolds is meeting someone today," Serrell told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"But I can't categorically say there is a saviour there at the moment."
On top of the £150,000 needed by the end of December, the board also confirmed they would then require a further £50,000 by the end of January.
Serrell says they have been trawling far and wide for the inward investment the club desperately needs.
"We had an advert in the Sunday Times last weekend and I have had one person reply so far," he said.
"That proposal has been put to the board but it is fair to say that I have got no further news on that at this time.
"We have got other irons in the fire and we are working extremely hard," he added.
The club has confirmed they had a meeting with Stratford-on-Avon-based businessman Chris Swan but said they were unable to come to an agreement.
