Matty Blair has scored three times in Harriers' last three league games
Kidderminster Harriers have tied up summer signing Matty Blair on a deal until the end of the season.
The former Telford and Redditch winger, 21, arrived at Aggborough initially on non-contract terms in July and featured well in Harriers' pre-season matches.
But he has caught the eye since being handed his first start, scoring the winner against Gateshead, then hitting a matchwinning brace against Grimsby.
"Matty has worked hard to earn himself something," said boss Steve Burr.
"You cannot always be in a position to dive in and throw contracts around but now, having stepped up, he has done tremendously well.
"It is important that Matty keeps pushing on. I'll be on his case all the time to keep doing that. But he is someone who is hungry and wants to play football and to do well."
Harriers currently stand 10th in the Blue Square Bet Premier, four points shy of a play-off place going into this Saturday's FA Cup fourth qualifying round clash with York City.
