Kidderminster keen to boost squad

Yates will have less to spend after Cup defeat.

Kidderminster Harriers manager Mark Yates will be looking to bring in loan players to boost his paper-thin squad, which has been hit by more suspensions.

Harriers have has five players banned following red cards this season, three in the last four games.

Yates told BBC Hereford and Worcester he would be asking chairman Barry Norgrove for some help.

"I am hoping the chairman will allow me to bring a couple in, I've got one or two targets in mind."

Harriers finances will have been depleted by the F.A. Cup replay defeat at Fleetwood, where Lee Baker became the latest payer to pick up a red card.

Kidderminster picked up £150,000 from their cup run last season and were able to sign players in the transfer window.

Kidderminster Harriers travel to Cambridge United in the Blue Square Conference on Saturday 31 October (1500 GMT) with full commentary on the whole game online at bbc.co.uk/herefordandworcester.
