Blue Square Premier side Kidderminster Harriers have strengthened the club's board with the appointment of local businessman Keith Chandler.
Chandler becomes a director following discussions with chairman Barry Norgrove and the board.
These talks lasted several weeks and the club are expected to make a further statement early next week.
Meanwhile, Harriers take on Redditch in the semi-final of the Worcestershire Senior Cup on Thursday at 1945 GMT.
