Kidderminster Harriers midfielder Russell Penn has said it is great to be back in action but it will take a while to return to full fitness.
The 24-year-old has missed seven league games after bruising his cruciate knee ligament at Barrow in January.
He told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "It was a tough game game at Lewes, I found it tiring in the last 10 minutes before I came off.
"I'm stiff after games and am trying to get my lungs back to full fitness."
Penn added: "The gaffer's eased me back in but it's a squad game and we all have to play our part."
With four wins on the trot the England C international said the confidence in the Harriers camp is high.

"We are striding to the play-off places, we have a lot of games coming but we have to be confident and see it through.
"We have to get on and deal with 12 games in five or six weeks, we can do nothing about it, we just have to go out and play.
"I think we have dropped a lot of points to lower teams this season, it's going to be very tight and could well go down to the wire."
