Blue Square Bet Premier side Kettering Town have dismissed goalkeeper Nathan Abbey for gross misconduct.
The Poppies say they will not be making any comment on the reasons for the 32-year-old's departure at this time.
The former Luton, Chesterfield and Torquay keeper has not featured since boss Marcus Law signed Kelvin Jack on loan from Darlington in early October.
The journeyman has made a total of 29 appearances since arriving at the club in January.
