Kettering Town have completed the signing of their former midfielder Brett Solkhon on a one-year deal.
The 27-year-old played at Corby Town and Brackley Town after leaving the Poppies in 2009.
"I'm very happy to be back, there's a good few years left in me and I want to be playing at the highest level," Solkhon told BBC Radio Northampton.
"The chairman has been looking to sign players and get the club up, and I think that's achievable."
Solkhon has agreed terms on a one-year deal, with the club having an option on an extension.
He is the fifth player to return to Rockingham Road this summer, after Moses Ashikodi, Luke Graham, Iyesden Christie and Tommy Jaszczun.
