Kettering Town boss Lee Harper happy with sixth

Kettering Town boss Lee Harper says he would be delighted with a sixth-placed finish in the Blue Square Premier.

Victory against Salisbury in Saturday's final game of the season would guarantee sixth for the Poppies.

Harper told BBC Radio Northampton: "Our budget was sliced but I'd like to thank all the players and staff who've been with me, putting in a great shift.

"If we're sixth, I'll be over the moon. With one or two more quality players, we'd have been pushing the top three."

Harper is set to discuss his future beyond the end of the season with club owner Imraan Ladak.

"Whatever happens next season, I wish everyone at the club well," he said.

"Hopefully the fans will get what they deserve, because they've been fantastic for me."
