A string of fine saves from goalkeeper Nathan Abbey helped Kettering secure a 1-1 with Crawley Town.
A Danny Forrest spot-kick gave Crawley the lead after Charles Ademeno was fouled in the area by James Jennings.
Kettering levelled after the break when Jennings made up for his previous mistake by providing a cross for John Dempster to head home.
Abbey then thwarted Ademeno, Forrest, Glenn Wilson, Barry Cogan and Michael Malcolm to prevent a Kettering defeat.
Kettering boss Lee Harper told BBC Radio Northampton:

"We played some good stuff at times but where we definitely lacked was in the final third - our quality wasn't great.
"They didn't really hurt us and I thought we deserved more than a point, to be honest."
