Kettering Town boss Lee Harper eyes attacking football
Harper has been in charge at Rockingham Road since November
Kettering player-boss Lee Harper says he wants Town to play attacking football for the rest of the season.
The Poppies played a 4-3-3 formation in the late stages of Saturday's 2-0 Blue Square Premier loss to Stevenage.
Harper told BBC Radio Northampton: "We've decided we're going to get at teams, and not be over-cautious.
"In the past two years, we've played to a system that's been really successful for us, but we want to change that a little bit."
Loan striker Kwesi Appiah made his first appearance for the club against Stevenage, and Anthony Robinson will bolster the Poppies' front line for the trip to Gateshead.
"We can't bring a lot of players in, but Kwesi looks lively and JP Marna was fantastic [against Stevenage]," added goalkeeper Harper.
"Anthony Robinson will score goals as well.
"From my point of view, if we go out and play like that, we'll win a lot more games than we'll lose."
